Note for Ubuntu users

By default compFUSEd seems not to build succesfully on some Ubuntu systems. Some of the need include files are missing.

Ubuntu Dapper and Sarge are probably suffering from this.

The error messages

cf_main.c: In function 'get_dirp':
cf_main.c:54: error: 'uintptr_t' undeclared (first use in this function)

and

cf_main.c: In function 'cf_statfs':
cf_main.c:880: warning: implicit declaration of function 'statvfs'

Solution

  1. A binary release will be put up soon for people who don't want to go through all the trouble
  2. Fetch the necessary include files from the internet

NEW solution

To get compFUSEd Gismo to compile under Ubuntu, simply use apt-get to
fetch the following packages:

 libfuse-dev
 liblzo2-dev
 libbz2-dev
