compFUSEd does currently not require many libraries to compile and run. Yet before you give it a try check in your lib path if you have all the required libraries.

NOTE: although you may have all the libraries installed you may have trouble compiling compFUSEd. If you get errors mentioning missing .h files it very likely that you need to install the development version of that library (so not just the runtime .so but also the set of .h files).

You'll need:

FUSE: libfuse (version >= 2.5.x)
OPTIONAL bzip2: libbz2
OPTIONAL lzo: liblzo
zlib: libz
